Holds a Master Degree in Public Administration from Harvard University -USA- with a concentration in macroeconomics and holds a second Master Degree in Information System Management from Georgetown University -USA.
He is the former director of the Institute of National Statistics in Angola. He has managed large-scale studies and surveys activities in development for many years. His areas of interest include social and economic development, macroeconomics, the informal sector, poverty and inequality, public administration and society.
He is the co-author of various publications such as: A Contribution for a Better knowledge of the Informal Sector in Luanda; UNDP Angola Human development Report, 1997,1998,1999 Epidemiological and economic impact of malaria in Angola UNDP, NY.
