Medical doctor, Master Degree in Demography
Is a medical doctor, she holds a Master Degree in Demography for the Minas Gerais, Cedeplar University. She is the former coordinator of the GMCVP (Monitoring Unit for the Social Conditions of the Population) of the National Institute of Statistics. She has been instrumental in the implementation of various socio and economic surveys.
Her areas of interest include poverty, social inequality, public health and in particular productive health and demography. She is the co-author of various publications such as the UNDP Angola Human Development Report, 1997,1998 and 1999.
