Holds a Doctor and Master Degree in Sociology from the University Institute of Research of Rio de Janeiro (IUPERJ). Bachelor Degree in Philosophy from Catholic University of Lisbonne (UCP).
His areas of interest include civic participation, philosophy, judicial sociology and political sciences. He is the author of various articles such as: Angola Perspectives at the end of the century, 1998, Rio de Janeiro ; The Fundamentals of the necessary incentives for the Lusophony, 1997, University of Oxford.
He is Professor at the Catholic and Agostinho Neto Universities.
