Holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) Degree in Mathematics from Goa University India and a few post-graduation Diplomas on Development studies, Statistical Methods, Poverty analysis and Macroeconomics. He is member of the GMCP, has participated in the realization of socio-economics studies in the area of poverty and the labor market. He participated in the MICS -Multiple Indicators Cluster Survey- funded by UNICEF that allowed the research of social conditions and health of rural and urban populations. He is the co-author of various articles and publications in those domains.
