Socio-economic research activities in Angola are scarce. The work developed during colonial times has been lost because of the absence of follow-up and the actual framework is poor.

In lieu of this, research in Angola has suffered from the structural changes of the Angolan society. At present, there is little research activities and this is why it seems important to create an independent institution of Angolan right that will promote socio-economic research while developing strategic partnerships with similar institutions aiming at enhancing in the process greater development for the benefit of the existing human resources of Angola.

  • Training in the area of research methodology, targeting young groups of potential researchers
  • Consulting the specific sectors (vision of getting expertise "niches")
